  • Once rebuilt these units should be tested on a rig and CANBUS functionality verified. We believe we may be the only company with the necessary equipment to perform this check.

  • On vehicles with the idle control valve removed running our E9x Syvecs ECU, no wear occurs since the motors are always loaded preventing chatter.

  • Failures which most commonly occur are FET transistor failure or positional error due to excessive wear to plastic gears/

  • An interesting reason for the gear wear is that whilst airflow is being provided by the idle control valve, there is no motor drive from the throttle actuators and in this condition an oscillation occurs which chatter the plastic gears.

  • Option 1: We offer an exchange pair of throttle motors for £450 plus VAT.

  • Option 2: We offer a drive in drive out service (car required for half a day) for £500 plus VAT.
