Elise Racing is a trademark name of Howell Race Engineering Ltd. With over 30 years of racing experience, we have vast experience in design, manufacture and the assembly of race winning engines. Elise Racing also has 25 years of experience with engine management systems that include high specification wiring solutions and gearbox control. We now include in our expanding range, direct replacement Syvecs platform ecu's for Lotus Elise Exige 111R and 211 models. Exige and Evora V6, BMW M3 E46 and E92 and BMW V10 including a wide range of control systems foir the control of DCT gearboxes in many applications including standalone solutions for S65, S85, S54,           LS Chevrolet, Ford V8 and YB Cosworth

 

Engines can be tested and mapped on our engine dyno system and installations can be proven on a 4 wheel drive rolling road. Currently specialising in the tuning of the 2ZZ-GE engine used in the Lotus Elise, Exige and 211,  BMW S65 V8 and S85 V10 and can produce fast road conversions and all the way through to full race engines. Many replacement and upgraded parts are now being produced by Elise Racing for the 2ZZ-GE engine including a new improved camshaft rocker system and special cylinder bores. BMW S65 and S85 engines can now ne controlled by a direct replacement Howell ecu which can control original chassis or run as standalone in other chassis. The company's experience also provides an expert service for most Cosworth engines including DFV and YB turbo as well as most Ferrari engines including: 360, 430 and 458.
